A Prefeitura de Sorocaba realizou “Operação Ferro-Velho”, nesta quinta-feira (3), e interditou temporariamente três estabelecimentos na cidade, que funcionavam irregularmente. Eles somente poderão reabrir após regularizarem a situação administrativa. Na ocasião, um quarto local também foi vistoriado, mas estava fechado.
A operação é feita pelo Setor de Fiscalização de Posturas, da Secretaria Planejamento e Desenvolvimento Urbano (Seplan), com o apoio da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM). O objetivo é coibir casos de receptação de materiais sem procedência ou alvo de furto, além de checar denúncias e identificar possíveis ocorrências nos âmbitos criminal e administrativo.
No primeiro bairro fiscalizado, no Parque São Bento, um estabelecimento estava fechado no momento da ação. Porém, no mesmo bairro, outro foi notificado por falta de alvará de funcionamento, obstrução de calçada e teve que encerrar as atividades até a regularização.
Por sua vez, dois estabelecimentos, sendo um na Vila Mineirão e outro no bairro Wanel Ville, foram multados por reincidência na falta de licença para funcionamento e também tiveram que fechar.
Os pontos vistoriados são definidos a partir de denúncias e informações apuradas pelos fiscais. Em 2024, 190 pontos foram fiscalizados, sendo emitidos cerca de 90 autos de infração, entre multas e notificações, e 15 interdições.
